Ever hear of the phrase "dead agenting"? No, well here is the most commom definition: to spread malicious lies and rumors about critics or organizations, in an attempt to so thoroughly discredit them that everyone concerned will be disgusted with them, and not listen to the information they have to give. Now read these doctrinal statments of the Church of Scientology:
Today, Internet search results happened to lead me to an article posted by the Washington Post (Carl Bernstein, Bob Woodware, Ben Bradley, Katharine Harris[publisher 1963-1991]) dated January 21, 2021. I only read the headline because I don't have a subscription, don't intend to get one, but it gave me all the info I needed to know the the Liberal and the "Get Republicans" Democrats sill inhabit the Paper. by running the numbers given in the headline, I determined that if Donald Trump only slept four hours a day, of each day of his presidentcy, He made ONE false or misleading claim EVERY waking hour of all four years he was president. That's 30,573!
Does anyone know if the Washington Post counted the misleading claims of president Obama?
If there will be a long-term threat, you are to immediately evaluate and originate a black PR campaign to destroy the person's repute and to discredit them so thoroughly that they will be ostracized. -- L. Ron Hubbard, 30 May 1974, "Confidential - PR Series 24 - Handling Hostile Contacts/Dead Agenting"
This is correct procedure: (1) Spot who is attacking us. (2) Start Investigating them promptly for FELONIES or worse using our own professionals, not outside agencies. (3) Double curve our reply by saying we welcome an investigation of them. (4) Start feeding lurid, blood, sex, criminal evidence on the attackers to the press. -- L. Ron Hubbard, 25 February 1966, "ATTACKS ON SCIENTOLOGY"
Hmmm… doesn't this sound a lot like what Liberals try to do to Conservatives? Romney hasn't paid any taxes in ten years; Romney abuses his dog; Romney is felon; Romney allowed a woman to die of cancer. Republicans want dirtier air and water; Republicans will let your grandma die; Republicans want to give tax breaks to their rich friends; Republicans will ban contraceptives; Republicans want to "put ya'll back in chains"; Republicans want to kill all the polar bears.
To be fair, I have no idea if any liberal politician is a member of the Church of Scientology. The only politicians I know that are, or were, members of the Church were Richard Nixon aides, John Ehrlichman and Bob Haldeman, and I know the Church's founder was the late L. Ron Hubbard. But, todays Liberal politician appear to have embraced L. Ron Hubbard doctrine of "Dead Agenting."
A similar doctrime of L. Ron Hubbard's Church was called "Fair Game." The term Fair Game is used to describe policies and practices carried out by the Church of Scientology towards people and groups it perceives as its enemies. Founder L. Ron Hubbard established the policy in the 1960s, in response to criticism both from within and outside his organization. Individuals or groups who are "Fair Game" are judged to be a threat to the Church and, according to the policy, can be punished and harassed using any and all means possible. In 1968, Hubbard officially canceled the use of the term "Fair Game" because of negative public relations it caused, although the Church's aggressive response to criticism continued.
It certainly appears that any critics of Liberals and Liberism, or their policies, have become "Fair Game."
Liberals have been promoting lies about Conservatives, and Republicans even if they may not be conservatives, for years. Take a look at these web sites that date back more than a decade.
